Dear Pk-12 families,
Mr. Schirado and Mrs. Huber will be holding two online meetings on Thursday, March 26th. During this time, we will do our best to answer any questions that you may have for the administration. If you are unable to get logged in during the meeting times, please know that we plan to continue having these online meetings as needed. Below is some key information for attending the meeting...
-Limits: We have a 100 person limit and a max of 40 minutes for each meeting.
-Joining the Meeting: We will put a link on our website live feed, Twitter, and Facebook page and text it out about 15 minutes before the meetings begin. You will simply click the link, download Zoom, and then you will be able to join the meeting.
-Times (Thursday, March 26th): 3:00 PM (link will be sent out at 2:45 PM) 7:00 PM (link will be sent out at 6:45 PM)

Updated Menu for Tues. March 24, 2020 - Fri. March 27, 2020.

Today from 11:00am-3:00pm we invite all non-bus students to pickup their belongings that our staff has bagged up for you. Grades K-6 can pick up their items at the door H-1 located in the west parking lot. Grades 7-12 can pick up their belongings at the high school office entrance. Lunch pickup for those that have called in is @ noon in the East parking lot at the kitchen door labeled K-1.
All belongings of bus students have been put on the buses and will be delivered today.

Good evening,
Due to the executive order of North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, as well as prudent action on the part of public education in North Dakota, we are closing school for grades PK-12 from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20, 2020 due to ongoing concerns of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We will continue to provide further communication on our district website, mobile app, and school Facebook page as new information becomes available.

Spring Break Week Dress Up Days

As we continue to receive more information and guidance from state entities, we will do our best to keep you informed on event changes.

Due to the Emergency Declaration issued by President Trump, the NDHSAA will suspend play at the 2020 NDHSAA Class A State Basketball Tournament and the 2020 NDHSAA Class B Boys Basketball State Tournament.
In addition to the 2020 NDHSAA State Tournaments being suspended, all remaining fine arts and spring sports seasons have been suspended indefinitely, which includes practices and game contests. Further information will be release as it become available.

The Linton Elem WR Tournament scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. PLEASE SHARE, thank you!

Hands on activity for Mr. Oien's 6th grade Science class.....lots of engagement and fun had by all!




The Radio 3 Students have returned from a fun and successful trip to the 80th Annual Intercollegiate Broadcast System Conference in New York where they have brought home 19 Golden Microphones (with 3 announcements still coming) compared to 5 last year. Out of 88 High Schools and over 3,000 nominations in 72 categories involved in the IBS the Linton High School Radio Program was one of the top 10 schools receiving nominations...Well Done Radio Broadcasting Program!


COVID-19 Update and Precautions
As a precautionary measure, Linton Public School has been working closely with the North Dakota Health Department to combat the potential for the COVID-19 virus to enter our state. Currently, there are no reported cases of the Coronavirus in North Dakota. We will continue to take active measures to keep our facility clean and safe as we do each and every year during flu, cold, and allergy seasons.
