LPS Activity Bulletin for March 9-21

What a busy week of events! Our 5th and 7th grade classes brought their science knowledge to display at our local science fair! The projects were wonderful. A special congratulations to our top five 7th graders as they move on to compete at regionals on March 17, in Mandan. Good Luck Gentry, Brooke, Amber, Zach, and Gavin.

This week our 3rd graders had a special guest come and talk to them, Linton Mayor Dan Imdieke. The students learned about what our mayor does for our community, how we keep our city clean, and how we strive to attract and retain businesses and community members. Thank you Mayor Imdieke for coming to our school!

Linton H-M-B wrestlers bring home an honor beyond the mat. Sophomore Trey Jacob and Eighth-grader Blake Ketterling were selected for the Academic All-State Wrestling team. Congratulations gentlemen on a fantastic honor.

What better way to enjoy a good story than with a guest reader. Sheriff Sanders was here to engage third grade in this week’s story whose main character just happened to be a Sheriff too. Thanks Sheriff Sanders for coming in and spending time with us!
