2021 District 6 GBB Tournament Bracket - Feb. 11, 12 & 15 @ Linton High School
An in school Spelling Bee was held yesterday morning for sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. Our school Spelling Bee Champ is sixth grader, Ethan Miller, who will go on to a virtual Spelling Bee in March. Great job to all of our participants!
The Kindergarten class had a fun time celebrating our 100th day of school with a visit from Zerona (Zero the Hero’s Sister). There was plenty of silly string, smiles and even a few screams to go around. Love seeing all of their excitement! Happy 100th day of school!
Any Linton HMB Lion wrestling fans wanting to attend the 2021 State Dual tournament and non-sanctioned girls wrestling tournament on Saturday, February 20 this will be a reserved ticket only event. Reserved tickets will be $20 which is good for both Class A and Class B dual tournaments as well as the non-sanctioned girls tournament. No general admission or reserved tickets will be sold at the Fargodome. Orders are due in the Linton High School office with checks made out to: Linton Public School by Friday, February 5.
If you have a child who will be attending Preschool or Kindergarten during our 2021-2022 year please come and register them in the Linton Elementary Office between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:30 pm February 1-5.

The deadline to purchase reserved State Wrestling tickets is Jan. 22 at 4:00 PM. Tickets are $40 each, which covers both days. Make checks payable to Linton Public School and deliver to the school by the deadline to reserve your ticket(s).
There will be no reserved or general admission ticket sales at the Fargodome. The individual portion of the state tournament will be on Feb. 18-19 only.
LION BB FANS: The Linton-HMB Varsity Girls and Boys games tonight will be streamed on our Linton Public School Facebook page. You can also listen to the games on our school radio station 100.1 KLPS, KSJB 600 am, or BEK channel 22.
Our #4 ranked Lady Lions will kick off this double header taking on #1 ranked Central Cass @ 6:00 pm. The Lions Boys squad is receiving votes in this weeks polls and will be taking on #9 ranked Central Cass at approximately 7:30 pm. Both games are being played at the Jamestown Civic Center.

STATE WRESTLING INFO: Any Linton HMB Lion wrestling fans wanting to attend the 2021 state individual wrestling tournament on Thursday, February 18 and Friday, February 19 it will be a reserved ticket only event with Class A and Class B in separate sessions. Reserved tickets will be $40 which covers both days of the tournament. No general admission or reserved tickets will be sold at the Fargodome. Linton HMB tickets will only be good for Class B wrestling. Orders are due in the Linton High School office with checks made out to: Linton Public School by Friday, January 22.
State dual tickets and the non-sanctioned girl’s tournament information to be held on Saturday the 20th, will come at a later date.

With Governor Burgum's mask mandate expiring Monday, January 18th, the Linton Public School Board has approved the following changes to our mask guidelines:
Masks will remain required on buses, in the hallways, in the multi-purpose room unless students/staff are eating lunch, and in small group settings where social distancing is not possible.
Masks are recommended not required in classrooms and all other areas when social distancing is possible.
