This week we celebrated our kickoff of "Pride Time" with Mr. Tom Nitschke in our building. Tom is a guru of mental toughness and resilience. Our celebration gathered K-12 students and staff in a resiliency activity. We can't thank Tom enough for leading us through an amazing activity.

The Linton-HMB Lions Football team is off to a 2-0 start after earning a 38-20 victory over South Border in week 2!#LionPride

Due to a recent cancellation, the Linton-HMB JV football team will be back on the gridiron to take on Southern McLean in Washburn on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 6:30 PM.

Jr. High Volleyball Update: The Linton-HMB volleyball team will be tangling with the Mustangs from South Border on Thursday, Sept. 5, at 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM in the Linton School elementary gym to start their season! Good Luck Lady Lions!

5th/6th GBB & VB
The first practice for 5th/6th grade GBB has been moved to Monday, August 26, 2019, and will take place at Linton School since the high school VB players have a scrimmage in Center. Rachel Umber will be this year's 5th/6th grade coach. We are anticipating most practices will be at HMB School.
The first Jr. High VB practice will begin on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, right after school in the small gym at Linton School. Trevor Kleineschay will be coaching the 7th/8th grade team. Good Luck Lady Lions!!


New face @ LPS: Tanner grew up on a farm 18 miles northeast of Linton and graduated from Linton High School in 2012. He received a degree in Mass Communications from Bismarck State College.Tanner is thrilled to be the K-12 Physical Education teacher at Linton Public School. Tanner is also the new head football coach for the Linton-HMB Lions. He had previously been working in Bismarck Public Schools the past four years.He and his wife, Rikki, are expecting their first child this fall. Tanner enjoys coaching and playing golf.

New Face @ LPS: Alicia was born and raised in Bismarck, ND. She attended North Dakota State University (Go Bison!) and got a dual degree with Valley City State University majoring in Elementary Education along with Human Development Family Science. After graduating, she taught in Strasburg for 6 years and married her husband Mark. Alicia recently received her Masters Degree from Concordia University, St. Paul, in Differentiated Instruction. She is excited to be our new K-6 SPED teacher. Alicia and Mark will be welcoming their first child the end of September. "I'm excited for this year, a year of changes!"


The school is buzzing again and we love having Linton and HMB teachers back and soaking up every word of Mr. Tom Nitschke and his "I Am Resilient" training! #findthepositive #character

Elementary Football Players can check out their football gear on Tuesday, August 20th @ 3:30 pm. Practice will begin on Wednesday, August 21st @ 3:30 pm.

The first day of school for the 2019-2020 school year is Tuesday, August 20, 2019. Our school day is 8:25-3:30. We can't wait to see you in the halls.


LINTON PUBLIC SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE
On Thursday, August 15th from 5:30-7:00 pm we will be hosting an all school open house. Food will be provided and everyone is welcome!
**Following the open house there will be a short Volleyball and Football parent meeting.

Parents & Guardians of Learners in grades 9-12:
As we prepare to begin the school year, Linton High School is inviting learners to review their schedules and make potential changes for the upcoming school year. Mr. Schirado will work with learners in ITV Room 2 during he times below to answer questions and work through class schedules. If a learner cannot attend during these times they should contact Mr. Schirado viz email to discuss their schedule prior to the first day of school.
