Today was a jam-packed day at LPS. Todd Wolf spent the day teaching the game of chess to our 2nd-12th grade students. What a great opportunity for our students to challenge their minds in a centuries-old game of strategy. #chessclub #learningbydoing #lionproud
Our Human Anatomy students started their Muscular System Unit and have been learning about the structure of muscle. Today, they were able to construct their own models using Play-Doh to visualize muscle contraction and relaxation!

Last night we added 3 banners to our state wall in the gymnasium. Our 2021 spring girls golf team who placed 5th @ State, our 2021 State Volleyball Champions and our 2021 fall girls golf who placed 3rd @ State. Congratulations teams, we are proud of you! #lionpride #smalltownproud
On 2-2-22 we celebrated our 100th day of school @ LPS! A few highlights from the day included a visit from Zerona, making 100th day sculptures, seeing how we will look when we turn 100 and our first graders made a time capsule on 2-2-22 to be opened on 3-3-33 when they are seniors!
