Linton Public School

October is College Application Month! Emmons County schools hosted a college and career fair this month in Linton that included over 30 representatives for our students to visit with. With other area schools invited, we had approximately 180 students participate!  The event kicked off with guest speakers, had an open-booth format, and concluded with seniors having the opportunity to apply for colleges. During CAM, Bank of North Dakota will cover the application fee for a post-secondary school of the senior's choice.

Here are the instructions for purchasing digital tickets through GoFan for our playoff game on Saturday, November 2nd (it is the same as last weeks game): Download the GoFan app on your smartphone. Sign up using your email address and password. Search for "Linton" in the app. The playoff game will appear. Click "Buy Tickets." Enter your payment method to complete the purchase. On game day, show your tickets on your phone to the ticket taker on Saturday. You may transfer your ticket to someone else 1 time. If you have any questions, feel free to call the school or stop by for assistance! GOOD LUCK LIONS!

Yesterday, Mrs. Schumacher, Mrs. Pfeifer, and Ms. Wikenheiser took the fourth grade class to the Strasburg Care Center to entertain the residents.  They performed a mixture of American favorites as well as songs set to familiar tunes.  Some residents even sang along!  The students can't wait to go back to perform during the Christmas season! #lionpride #togetherweroar
