Parents and Guardians,
You are invited to attend the Academic and Co-curricular Awards Ceremony held on Thursday, May 20th, from 11 to noon in the Middle School Gymnasium. All students in grades 9-12 will be in attendance to celebrate the academic successes and co-curricular achievements of their fellow students. This end of the year event will be a celebration of the hard work put in by our LHS students as they complete a very successful 2020-21 school year. The Lady Lions 4x200 meter relay team of Allie Dockter, Callie Hase, Grace Keeney, and Emma Weiser posted a state qualifying time of 1:51.54 earning an automatic birth to the ND State Track & Field Meet later this month. Congratulations ladies!

Congratulations to our boys golf team on their 1st place finish at the Edgeley Golf Tourney today! The team shot a 345.
Individual placers were 5th place Joseph Fode (82) and 10th place Carter Renz (87).

Great job to our girls golf team yesterday in the Sargent County Invitational, they placed 2nd! Team members include Erin Kelsch, Kaylee Weninger, Abby Hulm, Robyn Huizenga, Kathleen Vetter and Paige Hulm.
Individual placers for the Lady Lions were 3rd place Kathleen Vetter (90) and 7th place Paige Hulm (106).

Congratulations to the Boys Golf team on earning 1st place at the Sargent County Golf Tournament today! Team members include: Carter Renz, Ethan Zink, Joseph Fode, Nathan Holzer, Justin Tschosik and Peyton Masset.
Individual placers for the Lions were Medalist Joseph Fode (82) and 7th Carter Renz (87).
Senior Spotlight - Gabrielle Valdellon
The girls golf team captured the South Central Conference yesterday at Ashley by shooting a season best 334, while the boys placed 3rd. Four girls earned all-conference including Emily Kelsch, who was runner-up with a 78. Erin Kelsch, Madi Ptacek, and Kathleen Vetter also shot very well and placed in the top 10 to earn all-SCC. Joe Fode and Carter Renz also earned all-conference. Joe was runner-up with a nice round of 79.

Linton senior Daniel Schumacher competed in the 2021 Junior Duck Stamp Contest at a state and national level. Daniel won 2021 Best of Show in the North Dakota junior stamp contest and represented North Dakota at nationals on April 16th. Daniel’s acrylic painting of a Redhead titled “Midday Flow” received the 2nd place finish nationally. Check out this fantastic work by our very own Daniel Schumacher! Congratulations again, beautiful work!
