Congratulations to the Lady Lions Volleyball team for winning the 35th Annual Northern Cass Volleyball Tournament this weekend! The Lady Lions defeated Larimore, Sargent County, and Fargo Oak Grove in pool play. In bracketed play, the Lady Lions defeated Oakes, Northern Cass, and Langdon to win the 20-team tournament championship! Our JV team also played well as a varsity team fill-in for this tournament, losing only to Northern Cass twice in the tournament. Go Lady Lions!

School Supply Giveaway
Any students that attend school in Emmons County and feel they need assistance purchasing school supplies are welcome to attend the backpack program school supply giveaway at the Linton Methodist church on August 11th, from 4:30 to 6:30. Teachers can also participate starting at 6 PM.

Linton High School Student Class Registration
Student schedules for grade 9-12 students have been updated in PowerSchool. Please log in, or have your student log in, to review your student's schedule. If you have any questions about the courses or would like to make changes to the schedule please stop in to the high school office to visit with Mr. Schirado any day next week Monday through Thursday between 8:30 AM to 1 PM. JH VB practice will start on Wednesday, August 18 at 3:30-5:30 pm
FOOTBALL:
ELEMENTARY Football gear handout and first practice will be Monday, August 16th at 4:00 pm. Meet in the small gym. All practices will be at 4:00.
JH Football gear handout and first practice will be Sunday evening, August 8th at 6:30pm. Meet in the small gym. Practice August 9th-August 13th will be 8:00am-10:00am. All other practices will be at 4:00pm.
VARSITY/JV Football gear handout and team meeting will be Wednesday evening, August 4th at 6:30pm. Meet in Mr. Diegel’s room. Practice August 5th-August 14th will be 8:00am-noon. Practice will be at 4:00pm starting on August 16th.
ELEM GBB:
Team meeting on Thursday, August 19th during school. First practice will be Friday, August 20th after school.

ATTENTION PARENTS & STUDENT ATHLETES: All student athletes will be required to complete a new physical prior to participating in any sports practice. The form can be found by clicking here: https://bit.ly/3e7QgAv
Student athletes participating in NDHSAA sanctioned sports programs will be required to complete this form and return it to the school office prior to their participation on a yearly basis.
NOTE: Athletes cannot practice until a physical is turned into the office.
