Congratulations to our Students of the Month for November! This month we highlighted our critical thinking pillar: eligible students are those that push through surface level learning. They reach beyond the who and what to find a deeper understanding of the content material. They dare to ask the tough questions that force students to critically analyze the choices behind the final product vs simply going for the easily accessible information to get the work done. Thank you to our sponsor, PK Lures for providing each of our students with Linton Chamber bucks! #lionpride

Congratulations to our students of the month for September & October! This is something new we are implementing at Linton Public School. Each month, staff will nominate learners that exemplify a specific pillar. After nominations there are 2 elementary, 2 middle school and 2 high school students chosen. For the month of September, we highlighted our Responsibility Pillar. Eligible students were those that best adjusted to the new school year/routine. They've been timely, show up to class with appropriate materials, complete their homework, and have shown an overall ability (or shown great gains) to be responsible for themselves and their possessions. For the month of October, we highlighted our Citizenship Pillar. Eligible students are those that have exhibited positive friendships and a respectful attitude toward others. They’ve expressed concern and/or support for others; are honest, trustworthy, kind, helpful, positive attitude, etc. They have an overall show of respect through their manners, words, and actions. Thank you to our sponsors, the Linton Education Association and BNC National Bank for providing each of our students with Linton Chamber bucks! Congratulations to our students of the month! #lionpride
