How to Vote Absentee – Building Fund Special Election
Linton Public School will hold a Building Fund Special Election on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
There are several ways to request an absentee ballot:
1. Already requested a school election ballot?
If you voted absentee June 9 and checked “School Election/Special Election” on your application, your ballot is being prepared for mailing. You do not need to apply again.
2. Visit the Emmons County Courthouse
Request an absentee ballot application, complete it, and return it to the courthouse.
3. Contact Linton Public School
Call to have an absentee application mailed to you, or stop at the school to complete an application and receive your ballot after it is processed.
Returning your ballot:
Mail your completed ballot by Tuesday, October 20, to allow delivery time. Your ballot must be received by 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27. A postmark alone does not meet the deadline.
