As Election Day approaches on Tuesday, June 9, I would like to take a moment to thank the many community members who have reached out with questions, comments, and thoughtful conversations regarding the Linton Public School Building Fund proposal. Regardless of where you stand on the issue, I appreciate the respectful dialogue and the genuine interest in the future of our school.
Tuesday will be an exciting day for Emmons County, with several local races and important decisions on the ballot. Most importantly, it is an opportunity for citizens to exercise one of our most important rights and responsibilities, voting. I encourage everyone to visit the Emmons County Courthouse and make their voice heard.
The Building Fund proposal is ultimately about investing in the future of our school facility and ensuring that future generations of students have access to a safe, functional, and well-maintained learning environment. Over the past several months, we have worked hard to provide information, answer questions, and share the facts so community members can make an informed decision. Additional details remain available on the school website for anyone who would like to learn more. (https://www.linton.k12.nd.us/article/2842998)
No matter the outcome, Linton Public School will continue its commitment to providing our students with a high quality education and preparing them for success. Thank you for your engagement, your support of our students, and your participation in the democratic process.
I hope to see a strong voter turnout on June 9.
Sincerely,
Michael Schirado
Superintendent
Linton Public School District
