Dear Parents,
I am very excited to announce that we will be offering a summer reading and math program for students in grades K-5 who are struggling with reading and/or math.
The summer reading & math program will start on May 19 and end on June 18, ensuring we have all short weeks. The twenty days of instruction are as follows: May 19th – May 22nd, May 26th – May 29th, June 1st - June 4th, June 8th - June 11th, June 15th - June 18th.

We will serve breakfast from 8:00am – 8:25am. The summer reading session will start at 8:30am and end at 11:00am. The summer math program will be held on the same days as the reading program. Math instruction will start at 11:00am and end at 2:30pm.
Your child may attend both the reading and math sessions or they may sign up for just the reading or for just the math program. If your child signs up for both sessions, or just the math session we ask that your child bring a sack lunch, and we will have lunch with your child. The summer school program will serve a light snack in the afternoon. I want the program to be fun yet an educational opportunity for your child to develop a love of reading and mathematical problems.
