On Tuesday, July 14th, Governor Burgum and State Superintendent Baesler, released the K-12 Smart Restart Fall 2020 for North Dakota. Linton School has begun to align our reopening plan with this new guidance. We support the opportunity for decisions on reopening schools to be made by our local school board in consultation with students, staff, parents/families, local health officials, and others.
In the next few weeks, our COVID-19 taskforce will complete the preliminary reopening plan for review and formal approval by our school board. Our intent is to prepare a comprehensive and robust reopening plan, while realizing that the fluid COVID-19 situation changes and evolves rapidly. As these expected changes arise, we will be communicating them to you in a clear, timely, and concise manner.
