Dear Parents,
As we head into the colder months, I wanted to send a reminder that we go outside for recess every day to ensure our students get fresh air and time to play, unless the weather is below 0°F or it is actively raining. Recess times are 20-30 minutes each recess so it gets cold quickly. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather each day. This includes sending warm gloves, a coat, a hat, boots, and snow pants if there is snow on the ground.
Having the right gear is important for both comfort and safety during recess. Thank you for helping us ensure your child is ready to enjoy outdoor play each day!
