Dear Linton Community,

As we settle into the heart of the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible start we've had. We’re now over a month in, and the energy throughout our school has been fantastic.

Homecoming Week was a tremendous success, filled with activities that truly showcased the spirit and camaraderie of our students and staff. It was amazing to see our community come together to support one another and celebrate the pride we all share in Linton Public School.

Academically, our students have been working diligently, and I couldn’t be prouder of their efforts. Our teachers continue to do amazing things in their classrooms, providing innovative lessons and fostering an environment that encourages growth and success.

Additionally, our campus looks fantastic following the completion of several summer projects. If you haven't had a chance to visit the school lately, I encourage you to stop by. The improvements have made our facilities even more welcoming and conducive to learning.

With fall in full swing, there’s still plenty of action left with our volleyball and football teams. As well as our girls' golf team earning a trip to state in Fargo! We’d love to see you come out and cheer on our student-athletes as they gear up for postseason competition. Your support means the world to them!

I’d also encourage you to review the following link, which highlights our tax meeting held on September 18th. In addition to sharing our 2024-25 levy information, the presentation also discusses the negative impacts that Measure 4 (Elimination of Property Taxes) would have on the future funding of Linton Public School. https://5il.co/2xpdy

Lastly, a reminder that our Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up on October 16th from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity for parents to connect with teachers and discuss the progress our students have made thus far.

Thank you for your continued support of our school and students. Let’s keep this momentum going and make the rest of the year just as successful as our start!

Sincerely,
Michael Schirado
Superintendent, Linton Public School
